Our lockdown update – shop remains open

Just as we are settling in to our new location in Uttoxeter town centre, a second lockdown as been announced. We know how much this lockdown will affect our community and we are ensuring that our key services remain open to support you all.

Our Zero Waste Shop will remain open during lockdown, we are reminding people to where masks and sanitise their hands before coming into the shop, please refrain from touching anything you do not intend to purchase. We will continue our free delivery service to our local community of Uttoxeter and surrounding villages. Orders can be placed online via our shop website https://zerowasteshop.org please remember to select free delivery on checkout if you are within our catchment. Online orders for customers further afield will continue as normal.

Unfortunately, following Government guidance and to ensure the safety of our volunteers, we are having to close all recycling facilities for the lockdown but hope to have them back open as soon as the lockdown finishes.

We were also hoping to open our Green Skill Hub for our training courses and hot desking, this will need to be put back until the Government reduce their restrictions. However, we hope to run a series of online workshops for those looking to learn more eco crafts and skills.

Please note our opening hours remain unchanged Tues-Fri 9am to 5pm and Sat 9am-4pm. Closed Sunday & Mondays. Also a reminder that we have now moved to our new location of The Old Mill, Church Street, Uttoxeter, ST14 8AG.

We will get through this lockdown together, we wish you and your family, friends and neighbours good health.
